Storage and Usage of DOWELL3D ASA Carbon Fiber Filament
▶When replacing filaments, be sure to hold the tiptightly and do not
slip from your hands to prevent the filaments from knot and wrap the thread!
▶We recommend that you place it in a dry environment (relative humidity
less than 20%) during normal storage or use. Please keep it sealed whennot
in use; please use the opened filaments as soonas possible. If the filament
has become damp, it is recommended to dry it in an oven to eliminate the
moisture absorbed into the filament before use.
▶ASA-CF (carbon fiber content: 12%) filaments have strong rigidity and
should not be bent excessively. ln the feeding pipeline, excessive bending
of the filaments should be avoided as much as possible to cause the filaments
to break.
▶For stronger Z-direction (inter-layer) bond strength, set a higher infill density
and use an enclosed printer or set a smaller fan percentage to avoid excessive cooling.
▶ASA-CF contains carbon fiber. Long-term use may cause excessive wear of
the nozzle and extruder gear. It is recommended to use wear-resistant nozzles
such as hardened steel nozzles or ruby nozzles. lf possible, you can choose
hardened steel extruder gears.
