ABS-CF Possessing Excellent Mechanical Properties!
DOWELL3D ABS-CF is an enhanced composite carbon fiber ABS material, develo-
ped with the latest formula. Composed of 80% ABS and 20% carbon fiber and fe-
atures lightweight, high strength, and toughness-enhanced. Not easy to become
brittle and deformed compared with regular abs black filament. It's an ideal choice
for high-performance applications.
Low Shrinkage & Good Layer Adhension!
DOWELL3D ABS-CF filament is a worry-free product that has great bed adhesion, very
consistent color, and dimensional accuracy. The low shrinkage and stable printing dimensions
make the fusion between the layers very good to obtain an even better bridging result.
Improved Printability and Matte Finish!
Combining 20% carbon fiber, this carefully formulated blend ensures the filament
is easy to be fed and printable and makes the final print look very smooth and high

Storage and Usage of DOWELL3D ABS Carbon Fiber Filament
▶When replacing filaments, be sure to hold the tiptightly and do not slip from
your hands to prevent the filaments from knot and wrap the thread!
▶We recommend that you place it in a dry environment (relative humidity
less than 20%) during normal storage or use. Please keep it sealed whennot
in use; please use the opened filaments as soonas possible. If the filament
has become damp, it is recommended to dry it in an oven to eliminate the
moisture absorbed into the filament before use.
▶ABS-CF (carbon fiber content: 12%) filaments have strong rigidity and
should not be bent excessively. ln the feeding pipeline, excessive bending
of the filaments should be avoided as much as possible to cause the filaments
to break.
▶For stronger Z-direction (inter-layer) bond strength, set a higher infill density
and use an enclosed printer or set a smaller fan percentage to avoid excessive cooling.
▶ABS-CF contains carbon fiber. Long-term use may cause excessive wear of
the nozzle and extruder gear. It is recommended to use wear-resistant nozzles
such as hardened steel nozzles or ruby nozzles. lf possible, you can choose
hardened steel extruder gears.
Tips for Printing
Due to the addition of carbon fiber, ABS carbon fiber filament can wear out and clog stock
0.4mm brass nozzles rapidly. A larger diameter (0.6mm or more), abrasion-resistant steel nozzle
is highly recomme-nded, and keep your nozzles clean between every several prints or so. For a
better finish and layer adhesion, we would also suggest drying it before printing.
